Poor
Liked: The property had an awful smell of drains. The breakfast had only one member of staff on her own to deal with everyone. Their was no toast available for breakfast. I was asked to pay an additional £20 upon arrival which I questioned. The place is in need of a good refurb.

Apart from th above, it...
Liked: With one exception, everything.
Disliked: This, which was a sign on Reception; (see also 'photo below)"To save you looking around for cash for a tip, , we are now automatically adding a service charge". I mean, SERIOUSLY? "To save me looking around for cash for a tip".It does not even say how much they will charge. (In fact they never charged anything, luckily for them). Someone failed to read the room. Young, lower management ex-Uni graduate maybe? Nobody with an ounce of experience in dealing with customers would dream of implementing that, never mind the condescending & patronising wording. I've been staying there best part of 20 years, love the place, but wow, what WERE they thinking?
