HI San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf Hostel

Best San Francisco Stay EVER!!!...

Liked: The location is amazing! You can clearly see the golden gate bridge and alcatraz from the hostel! There were so many amenities and it was just so nice to meet so many traveling people. The beds were comfy and the blankets were really warm. I enjoyed the kitchen and the common room and the Cafe made great coffee and good food. Also if you are into plants check out the BEAUTIFUL community garden that's nearby. I don't think it's owned by the hostel but a walk through it was absolutely one of my favorites! The veiw of all the plants and the city. 100% will book with them again
Disliked: The only think was in our room we had a radiator. So it clinked and clacked pretty early in the morning and late at night. It definitely woke all of us that were staying in the room from our sleep, but it wasn't enough to ruin the whole night.

Liked: I love the place! is an actual historic landmark, so surprised by that.
Disliked: We had a problem with the keycard of our room, it didn't work at first. So we told the person on the front desk, she helped us out, but not in a good manner at all, I didn't like that attitude.

Liked: This is a historic place in the park area. You can see the Golden gate bridge from the hostel. It's giving old historic vibes and I like it. Everybody is so kind. You can find cafe, kitchen, laundry here. Shower has shampoo and body wash (I stayed in some places where they did not have it). People from reception provided with advice where to go. Lockers are also available

SCAMMERS: they unilaterally change your...

Liked: I can't really say anything positive about a property that does not comply with the terms and conditions stated in the booking (see negative points).
Disliked: When I booked, the terms and conditions said it included breakfast. Unfortunately the property unilaterally decided to change this, thus generating extra costs for me (and in a city as expensive as SFO this really makes a difference).Their only answer was "we can cancel the booking so you find another acommodation". As if booking a new option on the spot would not carry price increases and lower availability (there is a reason why we book with anticipation). I am still undergoing a claim both to this property and booking.
