Very good

Great vibe in a classic...

Liked: Great hostel in a fabulous 19th century mansion. East check in; morning desk staff particularly friendly and upbeat. I had the Frieda Kahlo themed room (#21) which was cozy with vibrant decor. Super clean communal bathroom/shower; quiet and well located not far from train station. For the price, you can't beat the charm and vibe of this property.
Disliked: Everything was fine!

Liked: Very nice, large private room. Clean shared bathrooms. Big, well equipped shared kitchen. Comfortable shared spaces. Quiet.
Disliked: Breakfast was fine, English muffins and instant oatmeal, but nothing that stood out.

Nice spot to explore Sacramento!

Liked: The location is very good for exploring the city.
Disliked: The lady at the reception was cold and barely to understand.
