HI Kelowna Hostel

Poor

Liked: Amazing location.
Disliked: I had a private room. The pillows and blankets were really smelly. Room was tiny and bathrooms were disgusting. This is not worth 156$/night. Parking could have been provided but no they need to charge more.

We ended up not even...

Liked: The location is good
Disliked: While I was aware that it is a hostel, it is beyond uncomfortable for the inflated price. The double bed was a small double and practically a cot and the bathroom in the room looked like someone had just used it.

Liked: Clean, friendly, spacious and amazing proximity to the town centre and beaches. The hosts were attentive and helpful. I arrived early and was able to relax and use the kitchen and dining area and get onto their wifi.The beds were a bit old and squeaky, but the sheets were clean. Large lockers in the room. I was in a 4 bed female dorm which felt comfortable and secure. Good air-conditioning in bedrooms and throughout the hostel. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the water was hot. Towels are free.There was a great outdoor seating and eating area.Be aware the hostel takes a CA$100 breakages fee which is returnable.
