Unique and delightful.

Liked: Primrose room was lovely and spacious and furnished beautifully. Very comfortable. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The courtyard was a little oasis in the sunshine. We enjoyed breakfast especially the honeycomb which was a lovely touch and I haven’t seen it presented in that attractive way anywhere else. Breakfast staff were friendly and efficient and we were very well looked after.
Disliked: No complaints at all.

Liked: The service was exceptional, nothing too much problem. We were served drinks in the garden up until midnight which was a great way to end the evening. The breakfast was very good, excellent choice and very good service.

Comfortable stay on historic castle...

Liked: Lovely rooms in the Tudor-style village built on site by Astor — comfortable and charming. The breakfast was exceptional — in a lovely room, with delicious food.The castle itself is so interesting and staffed with knowledgable guides who enjoy taking about the history of the building and the Boleyn + Astor families.It was nice to wander the grounds of the castle after hours.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were charming and friendly and facilities, decor, and food were all excellent, as were the castle and grounds. The breakfast was superb.The castle guides were very knowledgeable and helpful,
Disliked: We were hoping for a peaceful evening walk to the lake in the evening, but that was impossible because of a loud karaoke party blocking access to the lake. That could be heard all over the grounds, so we retreated to the bar garden.We were in Amaranth, and the loo was slightly pongy. It would have been nice to have had cold water and milk in a fridge, as the weather was extremely hot.
