Liked: Very friendly and polite staff - there for our Diamond Wedding Anniversary - Onita made sure the staff knew about it, lovely meal on the night time including a greeting on a plate -
Disliked: Could not gain anything

Great place to stay

Liked: Stayed in the family room for a girly trip..very clean and spacious. Great location only a 5min walk to town centre. Staff were friendly and informative. There was plenty of choice at breakfast continental and cooked options. Would definitely stay again .
Disliked: Nothing negative to say about Herriots.

Liked: Great location only 2 minutes away from the train station. A nice walk to the town from the canal footpath. Unlimited teas and coffee sachets next to the bar. Really enjoyed ourselves.
Disliked: Nothing it's was a lovely place to have a mini break. I have no faults about the hotel

Liked: I had read some mixed reviews about staying at Herriots Hotel, but I have to say that those reviews could not have been further from our own experience. Welcoming staff (particularly attentive to the pooch which he really appreciated, especially the sausages at breakfast!), comfortable and clean. The choice at Breakfast was good and they catered really well for vegans (including pastries!). Everything was cooked to order and fresh. Just a short walk into the centre along the lovely canal. Ours was only a quick stay, but we would certainly stay again.

A very relaxing stopover for...

Liked: Very friendly and efficient check in on arrival.Very comfortable bedroom and en-suite.Loved the super breakfast and the friendly and personal service from the staff member on duty.An excellent night’s rest after a long drive from the ferry port if Cairnryan before onward travel the next morning.
