Liked: The hotel is very close to the train station (less than 5 mins walk) and about 15 mins to the old town.The staff are exceptionally friendly and, in a first for us, there is free ice cream on offer, as well as tea, coffee, beer and soft drinks. Breakfast was excellent with much local produce.We stayed for one night in Oldenburg to split a journey from Rotterdam to Lübeck, and we're really glad we did. Lovely town even though the weather wasn't brilliant. We will definitely stop again if heading for Northern Germany or Scandinavia.
Disliked: The only issue we had was no coffee at 6:30 to help wake us up

Liked: Everything ! The rooms are beautifuly decorated - as is the breakfast room. Staff so helpfull. ( we met elderly German relatives at the hotel and met with them in the lounge and was given complimentary coffee and biscuits - thankyou) location is ideal with a pleasant walk of 12.mins into centre of Oldenburg along the river. ( just turn right at the river not left) A great selection at breakfast - scrambled eggs were delicious. Very very clean. Couldnt fault it. would definately stay again. Also free parking. Thank you for a very nice stay
