Run-down hotel that needs a...

Liked: Bathroom and the towels were clean.
Disliked: The facility is run-down and needs a refresh. Carpet was very old, furniture wa also old, dated and worn and while the bathroom was clean the rest of the room didn't seem that clean. A/C did not work well and the location is near the freeway making it noisy with a tricky entrance and exit. Price we paid was way too high for what we got. Also pool was closed.

Will not go back.

Liked: Nothing, it said smoke-free, and the entire room smelled like smoke. The area had absolutely no parking available, and the receptionist just told us we had to just keep looking. That's what she did or parked by the edge of the pool and then come back down later to look if parking was available.

That's what she did or parked by the edge of the pool and then come back down later to look if parking was available.I asked for a refund as the entire room smelled of smoke, the area was not safe, there was no parking available, and I was not going to be leaving our car in the middle of road until one because available. I was told there was no refund. At this point, I could care less, I just wanted to check out find another hotel. We weren't even in the room for 5 minutes before leaving. Come to find out that THIS hotel hosts a lotlot of people doing illegal things that are NOT kid or family friendly. Also , I was charged 2 times. As I paid online and was told by the receptionist, she couldn't see it, so she needed to have a card on file just in case so they could re charge it. I showed her my confirmation of proof of payment, but whatever, i still gave her my card information as that is regularly what is required in case of any damages to the room regardless of payment option. Just to find out the next morning, I was charged for the room again! Although I had already paid online! Yes, of course I called to argue and was refunded.
