Dunedin Leisure Lodge - Distinction is a 4-star hotel set in landscaped gardens overlooking Dunedin's Botanic Gardens. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from the city center. The hotel has 76 spacious guest rooms each of which has a balcony or an outside patio. All rooms are furnished in a contemporary style and include a modern bathroom. McGavins Restaurant is located on the former site of McGavin Brewery one of Dunedin's original and at one time New Zealand's largest breweries. Open daily for breakfast 6:30am-9:30am Monday-Saturday and 7am-10am Sunday. Dinner is served from 6pm-8:30pm Our on-site bar is open for beverage service from 4pm daily. Liked: Great breakfast, comfy bed, nice spacious room.
Disliked: Location means external noise at night. But to be fair - not as bad as we thought it may have been with a busy weekend in Dunedin.
