Great one night getaway

Liked: The ambience was great. The fire pit was a bonus.Having actually keys instead of a key fab was great.
Disliked: The pool was not clean.The complimentary breakfast was not much as there were no cups for the beverages and there was no food available.A little disappointed that the wine cellar was not available or part of the wine tasting.

Liked: Cleanliness of room, helpfulness of staff, food--oh, definitely the food--and the beauty of the house and gardens.
Disliked: I could not understand how to operate the modern shower, especially how to lower the temperature.

Liked: Convenience of location.
Disliked: Very small air conditioner for large room. Very hot at night. Food was not very selective and was very expensive for value you received. Very short staffed so long wait periods for service at check in, check out, breakfast and dinner as well.

Liked: The atmosphere is amazing. Such a beautiful setting and the aesthetics of it are spot on.
Disliked: Our complaint only comes with the judgemental looks we received when we entered wearing leisure clothes. After a long day we were tired and had dressed comfortable. It's not like we have on holey sweatpants or stained up shirts. It just wasn't very welcoming.

Liked: The staff was very hardworking and kind. The Castle house was very clean and beautiful! I loved each room having its own unique touch! The breakfast in the morning was perfect and just wonderful. I love the relaxed atmosphere from staff and down to earth yet still professional. I definitely want to come back for more. Brunch is fun there too!
Disliked: I feel like there needs to be more direction on what to do when there. Just overall direction. A pamphlet if staff isn't able to take time to explain how things work then a pamphlet would be nice.

Disliked: My friends were very elderly and somewhat disabled. I assumed when I booked their stay that there would be an elevator to take them to their room. Not so (and they had to circle the Castle to find the ramp to get them into the building, rather than lugging their luggage up the entry stairs). This needs to be made clear in the booking information so people can properly decide whether or not to stay there.

Liked: The bed was very comfort as was the tub.
Disliked: I did not receive what I booked and paid for. I booked a king room with private pool and hot tub. There are no private pools or hot tubs in room.

Disliked: In the room for us, the window was boarded up & in the second room shown, it had a cracked window. My better half had a terrible reaction so we didn’t stay.
