Very good

Liked: Location is about perfect.. close to the in er harbour..
Disliked: No elevators - so if you have heavy luggage and you are on a higher floor that’s a challenge.. staff are very helpful though and make sure it can work..

Liked: I like the Helm's Inn because it is an excellent location, the rooms have kitchens, and the staff are friendly.
Disliked: I was surprised by the price -- I have stayed at the Helms Inn several times before and this was the most I ever paid.

Excellent value and fantastic location

Liked: Lots to like about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was super. Overall it was excellent value for money and we will certainly stay here again next time we visit Victoria.
Disliked: We had a room with two double beds. We slept in separate beds as the double beds are quite small - we are not large people! It wasn't a problem for us but if you were expecting to sleep together it may be a squeeze. .

Liked: Was pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Helm. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Set in a fantastic location, with just a few minutes walk to all the amenities of Victoria downtown and waterfront

A great stay in a...

Liked: Great central location. Clean quiet room in the middle block. Tea/coffee available in the foyer. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: Room was dark as we were in the middle of a central block of 3 accommodations with a roofed balcony; however it was quiet away from the main traffic junction.
