Awesome location! A bit noisy...

Liked: Everything was great! Amazing location! Large room and comfy beds!
Disliked: Quite noisy as the windows do not isolate well from the streets. And the AC was really loud!

Overall a wonderful stay and...

Liked: Great location, updated and very clean suites. Good value for price
Disliked: We were on the parking lot side which was nice and quiet. Friends were on the other side of building and road could get noisy

Liked: I loved the location of Helms Inn. Many of Victorias attractions are with walking distance of the hotel.I appreciated that our room was accessible without stairs.I liked the daily attention to a bit of housekeeping.
Disliked: I didn’t like the amount of street traffic, but that’s no reflection onto the hotel.z

Liked: Very roomy, bed very comfortable. Kitchenette very nice. Location is great. Property is lovely.
Disliked: Parking spaces a bit tight.

Liked: It was very clean and spacious
Disliked: There was extremely loud thumping music. I felt like I was in a nightclub. I had my head fully in the shower and the thumping was sooo loud. I called to the front desk and spoke to a gentleman who said he couldn't do anything until after 10:30PM. I needed to get up at 5AM. I came here to sleep, not to hear thumping music and "whooo hooing". In the morning while checking out, a woman who looked drunk/drugged was asking to get into her room...and she said the room next to ours. Looks like they allow people who are on drugs to stay and party. I couldn't even tell the person who checked me out my ordeal, because he just took my keys and shooed me away. He never asked how my stay was or anything. I don't recommend this place.
