Uncomfortable attic room with no...

Liked: Disappointing stay - not family friendly
Disliked: We had a very unpleasant experience staying here. We were given an attic room where the sloped ceiling was directly above the bed — making it extremely uncomfortable, especially when waking up to the sun shining straight into your face by 5 a.m. Despite the 4-star rating, the room lacked basic amenities like a fridge or even bottled water.The discomfort continued early each morning with loud lawn mowing, which disrupted any chance of rest. The bathroom was another issue — the hot water was scalding, with no way to adjust the temperature, so we couldn’t shower during our entire 2-night stay despite the 32°C heat.The location is also not ideal for families. The entire area is a golf course, leaving no safe or suitable place to walk with children. I was nearly hit by a golf ball while walking with my daughter.To be fair, the food was quite good, but that alone doesn’t make up for the many issues we faced. Unless you’re a golf and booze enthusiast, this place isn’t worth your money. Definitely not recommended for a relaxing or family-friendly stay.

Liked: The hotel was clean and staff very polite. Room was spacious with a large double bed. Breakfast was nice.
Disliked: Room was extremely hot. Air conditioning unit not worth putting on.

Disliked: No air con, toilets didn’t flush, bottled water at the bar ran out on a hot day. Broken shower head, plug sockets very far away. Outdated rooms

Liked: The grounds are absolutely stunning. You could work around and enjoy nature. Really good facilities and a comfortable bed. The staff were really helpful.
Disliked: The rooms are a bit dated.

Liked: Lady working in restaurant at breakfast. Location
Disliked: Insolent reception staff. No cold water pressure in shower, bath or basin at peak times. Shower temperature was either scalding or no water.
