Excellant retreat

Liked: We enjoyed a lovely evening Bar meal. The breakfast was plentiful and well presented. The room was warm and comfortable lovely walk in shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities was a refreshing treat.
Disliked: Unfortunately the Spa facilities were closed due to refurbishment during our stay. It was not mentioned in the information when we made our Booking.

There’s plenty of better options

Liked: Nothing in particular. The place looks nice from a distance but is tired with absolutely no investment being made to update
Disliked: Very tired rooms with bathrooms still using unhygienic shower curtains , TV that was old and tiny. Room service that they insisted on being paid for at reception before they would send up!!!! What’s all that about? Way way overpriced compared to their competitors

Fabulous stay for the price

Liked: Delicious dinner, polite and helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was good, too. Quiet room, slept like a log. Great stay for the price. Swimming pool a bonus. Roche Abbey a 10 minute drive away and very interesting.
Disliked: The swimming pool was perfect for me as I'm a swimmer but it's definitely a swimming temperature it's not bobbing about and playing temperature. I would have liked serious wholemeal nutty bread at breakfast but can't complain, the rest was perfect.

Disliked: Being able to use leisure facilities. The space and friendly staff. All very helpful
