Hedley House Hotel

Quiet and cosy, just outside...

Liked: Very friendly staff, nice big bathroom, great shower, fan was helpful in main room to cool things down.
Disliked: No place For toiletries in bathroom- maybe a little table would be helpful.We were on third floor which was fine for me, but tricky for my husband with a bad hip.

Fantastic relaxing and lovely

Liked: The whole of the place was fantastic,receptionist he was friendly and very helpful garden was fantastic
Disliked: The bathroom smelt if left door open

Exceptional

Liked: Loved everything about this hotel. Hidden gem. Staff amazing and very attentive. Great breakfast options from fresh fruit and yoghurt to full English breakfast. Unfortunately we did not get opportunity to use jacuzzi due to other plans but it was great size with complimentary towels. Fantastic covered outside seating area. We had superior double which was extremely comfortable and clean. Short 10/15 minute walk to town. Will definitely go back
Disliked: The only small negative would be getting to upper levels can only be accessed by stairs

Short Break

Liked: We had a lovely stay at Hedley Hotel. The hotel was within walking distance of the city and all the sights. The outdoor seating area was great to sit in with a drink. The jacuzzi and sauna looked great. The breakfast was everything we expected it to be. We would recommend.

Other than the room being...

Liked: Just a few minutes walk into the centre of town.
Disliked: The room was very hot and stuffy due to the sash window being fixed to open only a certain amount. Which I understand as it lead out onto a roof but then the fan supplied could not be plugged in anyway where it made any difference.
