Beautiful property in a beautiful...

Liked: The room, though small, was very well appointed. Bed very comfortable.Breakfast was excellent and the attending staff could not have been more helpful.
Disliked: Parking - damn near impossible if you could not load the Apcoa app. Pricing outrageous but they have a monopoly of the town centre.The pub behind the property and below our window was very very noisy. Fortunately it rained in the evening so we had a peaceful night."just call us - we are only a few minutes away" turned out to be a remote handlimg service who had no real grasp of the location.

Unexpectedly noisy

Liked: The room was amazing. Very spacious and very clean, with everything needed for a short stay.
Disliked: NoiseIt was a warm weekend, so windows open. Road noise disturbed our sleep as we were at the front of the building, and it was difficult to get back to sleep once woken. We did try closing the windows, but it didn't make a lot of difference and it was too warm.Therefore, I considered it a bit expensive due to going home tired

Liked: Right in the centre, lovely big and airy room with everything provided to make your stay comfortable.
Disliked: It was a bit of a trek up the stairs to get to the room. But if you’re fitter than we are it will be no problem.

Liked: The breakfast was entirely fit for my purpose but given the price the choice was limited.
Disliked: I received two emails with the word Pin in bold but different numbers. It was not clear the first referred the invoice rather than the front door.The hotel has no parking. It would be helpful to be told that there are car parks nearby with free overnight. parking.The stairs slightly let the rest of the building down.
