Charming B&B in gorgeous location

Liked: Wonderful healthy cooked breakfast; charming old world rooms; beautiful location and garden overlooking the sea; good quality toiletries; and pleasant staff.
Disliked: My bathroom had no heating and it was a little cold there overnight.

Wouldn’t book it again.

Liked: Location was nice and very close to the ocean.But I think it overpriced for what you get.In addition we had to leave tips to people we didn’t even see.
Disliked: Continental breakfast was a poor choice.

Liked: Fabulous location, delicious breakfast, very comfortable bed, old world charm, warm but unobtrusive hospitality.
Disliked: No heating in my bathroom.

An enjoyable, relaxing three days.

Liked: A beautiful view from our room, the delicious breakfast. We had to leave early on the day of departure and Ashley packed us a wonderful to go bag. The location was within walking distance of everything in Mendocino.

Liked: Beautiful house and rooms, very comfy bed, excellent breakfast. The hosts were welcoming and informative.

Liked: Headlands is ideally located for the cliffs and village, and conveniently close to the two best restaurants in Mendocino, 'Luna' and 'Beaujolais'. The house is handsome and the garden very pretty. Breakfast was tasty and well-presented, with flowers.
Disliked: The room needs a make-over. There are no drawers for clothes. The mattress had an unexplained bulge or ridge down the middle. Breakfast at 8.45am is too late. We very much enjoyed our two previous visits under the previous owners, but this time the service and facilities felt perfunctory.
