Very expensive for the quality...

Liked: The view from our room was really good. The breakfast room was lovely and comfortable. Waitress was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very hot and there was a good selection.
Disliked: Our room was at the top of the building which we could only get to by the stairs, not ideal for elderly guests. The room was very basic and needed a complete refurbish.The radiators did not get hot but there was a heater which took the chill off.It was so windy I was afraid the room was unsafe as it was shaking and lots of rattling which kept us awake at night.The bathroom was very shabby, no blinds at the window and very cold in the morning as the radiator did not work.The shower did not have much power and was only just warm enough.There were asylum seekers staying there who I felt had been given the best rooms, we had paid £120 per night, iI think paying guests should have had priority.The room wasn't cleaned daily, we had to take our own rubbish to the bin.
