Liked: When we stayed at your hotel, we were genuinely impressed by the exceptional service we received—particularly from Leah, who I believe was the manager on duty that day. She was absolutely amazing: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Leah was full of useful information and ensured we signed up for the IHG membership, which we truly appreciated.Even after we checked out, she kindly let us stay in the lounge while we waited for our airport taxi. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and her professionalism and friendliness really stood out.We were also deeply appreciative of how far both Leah and her team that day gone—literally and figuratively—to provide such a high standard of care. Their efforts did not go unnoticed, and we left feeling genuinely looked after.Thank you so much for a memorable stay! We will be back !

Liked: Reasonable price. Just want clean/ good location and good nights sleep Staff great. Bed and shower great price good. Great bus location
Disliked: Our air conditioner leaked onto my cloths in my suitcase and onto the floor. We were only staying one night and were already in bed but I called down and she offered to switch rooms but we were too tired. She said it was too late to have anyone fix it. So we heard it drip drip drip all night even we tried more towels in the floor. Puddle by morning. We mentioned it at check out too and just would have thought they might have credited some of the cost of the room but we had plane to catch and could not afford time. discussing it with them.

Liked: Perfect location, close to everything. Accommodating staff and it was nice to have a late check-out.

Liked: Hotel is apparently brand new so I was the first person to stay in the room - didnt expect A/C in Edinburgh so was pleasantly surprised as it was exceptionally hot outside for Scotland. Staff were lovely but obviously new - hotel does look very modern and trendy. Excellent location for station as its just across the road but luckily its not noisy at all
Disliked: Edinburgh seems very expensive now compared to 5 years ago but the Garner hotel was relatively reasonably priced compared to hotels around the West End.

An extremely comfortable nights sleep

Liked: Newly refurbished hotel under the IHG brand.Excellent location opposite Haymarket train station and on the tram and bus route to the airport. Easy 15-minute walk to Princes Street, the local"West End" is surprisingly elegant, and if you fancy a walk, then the Water of Leigh runs behind the hotel down to Leigh.A very comfortable nights sleep with blackout blinds that actually do cover the whole window and, as you would expect,very clean. The hotel is linked to an adjacent sports bar, Platform 5, where you can get discounted dinner or breakfast. As I had to rush out in the morning, I bought a grab and go breakfast from the garner shop.
