Good, comfortable hotel

Liked: Comfortable, clean. The staff couldn't do enough to help us. Lovely, friendly staff.15 min walk into the city. Very near to the tram stop, ideal for getting to and from the airport
Disliked: No teamaking facilities. Had to pay for a cuppa which when you have spent over 500 pounds for 2 nights is a bit naughty.

Liked: • Good location, by a train and tram station/stop• Nice view • Staff were friendly• Bed was comfortable
Disliked: • Room was small • No Netflix or YouTube • Air con wasn’t working it said (setup) / thankfully we had a window • Plug wasn’t working beside my bed ( room 711) • No hand soap ( should’ve asked but it should be checked by staff) • A bit noisy, doors would slam really loud • 1 lift was working that could fit 2 people it was tiny, and scary it would make weird noises and shake before doors open, had to walk down the stairs, got there before people that were taking the lift from the 7th floor• shower pressure not the best but ok

Okay but wouldn’t stay again.

Liked: Rooms were modern.
Disliked: Only one lift was working. Staff were cramming into the lift with their trolleys. We didn’t receive a warm welcome at reception, very little interaction. Parking on booking.com is very deceiving, roughly only 10 spaces and there was no parking nearby that was available. Ended up having to park at Greenside Row, rush back to the hotel to then rush back out to where we needed to be for 4pm.

Overpriced small dirty rooms, but...

Liked: The property is well located on Haymarket opposite the station and an easy tram ride to airport or into old town The staff was really pleasant and helpful
Disliked: The room was incredibly small and overpriced. Furthermore the floors were really dirty in the room and the corridor carpets are simply disgusting. There is hardly any keycard pass doors so it doesn’t feel safe. The back entrance (although to be fair being renovated at the moment) has no signs when you come in. My room window was next to a roof that people seem to climb on and leave rubbish (empty bottles, etc). Lifts were frequently out of order while I stayed.

Liked: The Staff were friendly and good location.
Disliked: No wardrobes, No kettle, No fridge , No corridor next to bed...barley any space for shower door to move or 2 humans.

Great locaton and comfortable but...

Liked: Lovely comfortable room, great view, fantastic location, huge telly! Staff were incredibly lovely and love that you can buy drinks etc. at reception.
Disliked: Having extra facilities like fridge, tea, coffee in room would help with making it more value for money. Very expensive for a very basic room. Need to check bottles in bathroom as shower gel and another were empty. Called to change name on booking weeks in advance but this hadn't been done properly on the system which caused confusion
