Comfy bed; good breakfast; very nice staff. I came to town for a concert. The hotel was well located to the concert venue as well as the train station. I'd stay here again.

Disliked: Just wish face cloths had been in the room.

Liked: Second time staying here. Staff are very helpful and friendly and Edinburgh city and attractions are within walking distance.
Disliked: Bed was slighly creaky but still comfortable

Good classics English hotel in...

Liked: Feels like in a Royal Apartment Luxury building and interior
Disliked: Wish the room could be slightly warmer (but I understand that rooms are really big in this hotel ) and classic English breakfast little bit cheaper than 18 GBP per person But in general is fine

Perfect place to stay at...

Liked: Location amazing, comfortable bed , personal super friendly . I stayed for 4 nights and we were super happy, walking distance from many tourist attractions and tram just 2 min walk distance. It’s a like a traditional house , so don’t expect lifts . They were super nice and by the time of my check in they put our bags in the room though
Disliked: All perfect - but the hot water wasn’t at its best tbhWould have been good to have a fridge maybe

Liked: Great location. Excellent bus and tram stops nearby. Made travel to city centre easy.Room was spotless and comfortable. Loved the towels supplied.

Disliked: a bit noisy when other guests would come in/out of their rooms in the middle of the night/at 5amsmall shower, water pressure wasn't great.

Amazing weekend in a lovely...

Liked: Staff were amazing, could ask them any questions I'd would always help as best they could! Lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. Loved the set up of the separate houses, felt like we were going home in the evening.
Disliked: Loved it all.

Convenient location but not the...

Liked: The location is very convenient, walking distance from center (with an effort) and many restaurants in the area. the room was spacious and cozy, excellent breakfast and a nice and elegant bar.
Disliked: It was not the room I booked for. In the pics it showed a bow window and a fireplace, and lot more space. Ok, space may be a lens effect, but we were in the basement. I decided to break my budget to sleep once in the life in an elegant Victorian room with a bow window. I wouldn’t spend that money for a basement.
