It was a magical artistic...

Liked: Amazing hotel! It truly feels like stepping into the pages of an interior design magazine ,so beautiful it almost feels too good to be trueThe interiors are colorful, full of love, and filled with so many creative design elements that make it much cozier than a typical hotel more like an intimate boutique stay.I was upgraded to the Luxury Junior Suite, which made the experience even more special. As someone who always seeks out boutique hotels with unique interior design, I can say this is one of the very best I’ve ever stayed in. I hardly wanted to leave the hotel, and I even bought the designer’s book online because the inspiration was just that strong
Disliked: The restaurant downstairs doesn’t provide any chicken options I would have loved to see something like a grilled chickenThe additional service charges would be better if shown as part of the final price on Booking.com, instead of added later.Overall, a truly unforgettable stay full of creativity, warmth, and inspiration

Perfect location close to everything.

Liked: Beautiful hotel in every way. Comfort and quality are top. Personnel is very polite and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful and afternoon high tea was phenomenal!
Disliked: Unfortunately, we were very much looking forward to a swim after a full day of walking and visiting, especially given the hot weather. However, the pool and pool area were freezing cold. Couldn’t go in…5% gratuity above the cost was not mentioned at check-in.

Overall we had a fantastic...

Liked: The room was very spacious and comfortable - especially the bed! The breakfast in our room was mostly excellent. We loved the interiors in the hotel, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive and it really felt like home. The swimming pool was lovely, we enjoyed our morning swim very much.
Disliked: The shower flooded the bathroom every time we used it, and the croissants at breakfast were stale (it felt like they had been defrosted that morning).

The Haymarket is another Firmdale...

Liked: The Firmdale Hotels are all excellent. The properties themselves in particular the attention to detail in construction, the fine decoration and most importantly the excellent staff are all hallmarks of The Group. At The Haymarket Greg at the Concierge Desk and Piper at The Breakfast Room were exceptionally helpful.
Disliked: Periods of daytime construction on or near our floor were a bit irksome.
