beautiful Rhine view

Liked: I had a great stay at this hotel. The room had a beautiful view of the Rhine and was spacious enough. The bathroom was newly renovated and very clean. The receptionist was very friendly. I had a heavy suitcase, but the porter kindly carried it to the room. The location is also convenient. I recommend this hotel.
Disliked: It would have been great if the room had a kettle and a fridge.

Highly recommend!

Liked: Excellent location just steps away from restaurants, shops, etc. Room was very spacious and comfortably fit my family of 5. Would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This is a great spot...

Liked: This is a very cute hotel directly on the Rhine waterfront. It's a great location for those who plan to enjoy the spring/summer nightlife as the hotel is in near some of the most lively squares! I would not recommend this hotel for those who want to go to bed prior to 1am-2am as the noise on the street is intense and without A/C the windows need to stay open when its warm. For those who wish to partake the nightlife, this is a great choice! The noise is probably not a problem in the winter months with the windows closed. The hotel stairs are steep and antique, so don't drink past the point...or get a 1st floor room if there are any...
Disliked: A/C in the room would be nice, but I knew this problem going in.

Great location, close to train...

Liked: The location was close to the train and Cologne Cathedral. You only need to walk a few steps to the restaurants and main square. The beds were comfortable, the layout a bit odd, as one bed is in the main living area. We were only there long enough to sleep, so it was fine.
Disliked: We were given directions to the wrong place, which was inconvenient, considering the dragging of bags a bit out of the way and in circles. The climb up the stairwell was brutal, bring next to nothing with you.
