Central, cosy, heritage, welcoming

Liked: Very centrally located - in the Town Square and jsut 10-mins walk from the train station. The hotel is charming and historical, and it retains its heritage. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is cooked to order (not buffet).

Liked: I’ve stayed here many times, I think this was my 12th stay, the lack of lift and so may stairs kills me but it’s close to what I need and the staff are wonderful, food is fantastic, rooms are so clean and bed is 10/10 the most comfortable bed ever

Disliked: Lots of noise from some water system in the hotel, sounded like showers or toilets. Unpleasant at four or five am.

Liked: Excellent hotel and accommodation. Lovely lady met us at the reception when we arrived, very smiley and helpful. Very clean, tidy room. Great shower in bathroom at a good temperature. Superb food in the restaurant. Staff were wonderful, very helpful and extremely pleasant.
