Liked: Does not live up to the hype. Grossly overpriced.
Disliked: Poor value. Stay elsewhere with comparable services and save a lot of money.

Liked: The breakfast and location were excellent! Bicycles were included in the room rate. The room and hotel was very clean. All the staff were very nice and helpful.

Liked: It was clean and I felt safe there. Close to everything
Disliked: I loved it all. I will be staying there from now on. I come at least every 2 months to visit family

Better than expected with lots...
Liked: It’s an old factory or wharehouse that was converted into a hotel. It has lots of character and charm. It has been tastefully finished and is in a great location downtown where there are many local restaurants and shops within walking distance. We had a river view room. The restaurant and bar was nice and the staff was great.
Disliked: The age of the building and imperfections that appeal to us may not be what some people like if they are looking for a brand new and modern hotel.

Expectations were higher than what...
Liked: Location was convenient for my purposes.
Disliked: 1. The room. 306 built on a slant. The room has uneven floors. Even the bathroom floor was slanted.2. No ironing board. However front desk provided it.3. Reported the phones were not working. We were told maintenance would be contacted. No maintenance personnel EVER contacted us during our entire weekend stay.4. Advertise (photos) beautiful greenery all around the corridors. Nothing but dead brown plants on all three levels5. The on-site restaurant was the worst. I was told I would have to wait 50 -60 mins to be seated in a restaurant that had very few patrons. Worst part I had to wait 2 to 4 mins for the restaurant hostess to finish her conversation with fellow co-workers before I was acknowledged and informed of the wait time. No explanation was given for the long wait time. But I can say I counted maybe SIX people visible in the restaurant.Needless to say no additional monies were spent at the hotel. Any and all food were purchased elsewhere. I’m big on supporting/spending where I stay but not this time. During this stay others local establishments benefited the most.
