Lovely characterful property

Liked: This is a very characterful and peaceful family run guesthouse located about a 10 minute walk from town. Our cosy room was very well equipped with toiletries and a very good selection of tea, coffee etc. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to be able open the window, a bit of a rarity in modern hotels. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. The guesthouse is about 400 years old and it was interesting to hear the history of it from our host Paul.

Very good

Liked: Having our own front door with bed sit opening to outdoors. Attractive barn conversion. Comfortable bed. Breakfast in cosy farmhouse kitchen was brilliant. Plenty of parking.
Disliked: The size of our accomodation was very small. Similar to a cabin. Needed to pull Roman blind down for privacy making it claustrophobic! Shutters would be better.

A perfect and comfortable stay...

Liked: Great communications throughout and a warm welcome on arrival. Parking no problem. The room was for four women sharing and we each had a single bed, lovely bedding, plenty of room, very clean. The breakfast was fabulous. The breakfast menu had everything you could wish for and perfectly cooked and presented in a cosy and delightful farmhouse setting, fresh fruit and greek yoghurt with honey, followed by fried eggs, beans and mushrooms was my selection and it was delicious.
