An ideal location for Buxton...
Liked: Very comfortable room with lovely pictures and plates on the walls to give homely feel . Well stocked coffee and tea etc and good shower room well ventilated and heated .The bed was comfortable and plenty of storage space. There was parking right next to the property . The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice .
Disliked: The only thing we didn?t like was the t v as it wasn?t straightforward to operate

Excellent guest house, fantastic hosts...
Liked: The guest house is in a great location, only a short walk from restaurants and bars. We were given a lovely warm welcome and as our room was ready we could check in early! The room itself was fantastic, extra little details such as oreos and munchies on the tea tray and full size shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom were really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Disliked: The only tiny thing was the room being a little bit too warm in the night even after turning the radiator off. It wasn't a major issue and didn't impact on our stay... we will definitely be back!

Liked: Hawthorn Farm lived up to all previous reviews. The room and beds were comfortable with excellent facilities. The breakfast was appetising, generous and well cooked. The owners were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Full marks for everything!

Liked: Excellent friendly breakfast.Room was small but totally adequate. One had to be very patient to get the Freesat to function.Bed was comfy.
Disliked: Bedside light flickered suggesting the bulb was on the way out (R side looking at the headboard from the bottom of the bed - Room 6)
