Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Fort Wayne

Very friendly staff, great room!

Liked: Very cute and comfy room! A lot bigger than we expected; it was like being at home.
Disliked: The bed was a little too hard for our taste but we still slept well.

Disliked: I didn't like anything about this place. The room stunk like animal urine. There was paw prints all over my bed. No tv, internet no entertainment besides the people that live out there. The place was straight trash

Liked: It looked nice from the outside and was convenient for me.
Disliked: Room looks like it was once very lovely, but now derelict. I can tell that it was once a very nice place, but has been allowed to run down. The room has full kitchen, but no plates, cups, or cutlery.Curtains off hooks, bedspread and curtains all wrinkled. Towels few, scratchy and mismatched. No toilet paper or water cups. Man at desk was being "nice," but he kept addressing me with names like "honey" and "dear," which made me a bit uncomfortable

Friendly staff, dutiful housekeeping can't...

Liked: The staff was nice and helpful. I could also tell housekeeping did their best to clean that room. None of it is their fault, it was very obvious housekeeping cleaned the room... but I don't think even a team of super hero cleaners with magic cleaning supplies could help a room there.
Disliked: Reeked of wet old dog. Air conditioner was rough. I walked in and left within 5 minutes and just considered the cost a loss. I'd rather sleep outside.

Liked: The gentleman at the front desk was kind and friendly.
Disliked: No towels No trash canThe smell was atrocious Blood stain in the bathroomMouse poop on the bedMold on the mattress Woke up to screaming and police officers responding to a domestic.No breakfast not that I would want to eat anything from that place.We actually slept with the sliding door open so that we could try to breath clean air.I had to dispute the security deposit wich was almost as much as the one night room to get that returned. Tv didn't workWe were afraid to touch the carpet with bare feetI asked if I could get "clean" towels since we had none in the room. I was giving two and told that they were clean just had a few stains

Not a bad place for...

Liked: Nice sized room with full kitchen appliances. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: No amenities at all, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Thought these were standard at any hotel. The mattress was totally used up, stained and in need of replacement. The room had an "old" smell that I'm afraid was due to years of urine accumulating on the mattress. Rm# 211. Full kitchen but no dishes or utensils.
