I feel ripped off.

Liked: I rebooked here because the last time I stayed it was convenient and clean.
Disliked: I was very disappointed given the current COVID-19 situation that I was charged for my stay even though I had to cancel. I understand that the room I booked was non-refundable, but I thought that given the current situation, with everything closing down to protect against the pandemic, an exception could have been made.

Disliked: There was a room service charge of £25.00 before you could order food very strange set up !

Comfortable, relaxing and convenient for...

Liked: At first we had a standard double room, but on informing the staff that the wall heater wasn't working we were immediately upgraded into a superior double. This room was pleasantly warm, more spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was plenteous, well prepared and served. The hotel was in an ideal location for visiting Oxford.
Disliked: Nothing, after the probem with the heating was so speedily rectified.

Comfortable, but could do with...

Liked: The beds are really comfortable and breakfast was good. Also the ability to walk down the river and I to Oxford was nice .
Disliked: From the outside the hotel is lovely, but some of the inside areas (corridors to rooms and stairways) are a little tired. We had mould on our bathroom ceiling and the vanity for the sink was quite severely water damaged.
