Adequate accommodation for the price

Disappointing!

Liked: Did not like location or atmosphere when I arrived and subsequently did not stay the night.
Disliked: Everything.

Excellent location and welcoming

Liked: Breakfast was mostly good especially juice and cereal. Staff very friendly and excellent bed.
Disliked: Could have been improved with less deep fried items in the cooked food.

Pleasant

Liked: everything fine and in the middle of nowhere.

Superb

Liked: The staff at hawk house were great and the food in the adjacent restaurant was also very good. Now the a 303 has been rerouted it's very quiet. Great views from the communal balcony

Hawk House in Yeovil

Liked: Convenient location, rooms and bathroom were ok. Showers worked great. Adjoining restaurant is good, breakfast is good too.
Disliked: We rented 4 rooms, upon arrival found out 1 was cancelled. Staff provided an extra bed but it was not convenient or comfortable. Two bathrooms had very little liquid hand soap left, informed staff immediately, but no liquid soap arrived in the 2 days we were there. One bathroom did not have sufficient toilet rolls. Basically in the 2 days we were there none of the rooms were serviced. No reception area to check in or out, staff not easy to find. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
