Disliked: No reply to request late check in , had to collect key from employee at empty restaurant who was rude and abrupt. Room was filthy, mattress stained and uncomfortable, coffee box dirty, no usb to charge my phone, radio alarm didn’t work, only one Chanel on tv , shower rusty and no hot water. The staff were making noise at 7 am and people walked past my window at 7 am . It was remote and I felt really unsafe, I had to push a chair under the door to lock it.

Very good value

Liked: Excellent location for breaking the journey from London to Cornwall. Conveniently located just off the A303. Very good Indian restaurant next door where breakfast is also served. Comfortable room. Perfect for a quick overnight stop but would also be ok for a longer stay. There is a lounge and roof terrace available for guests which we didn't use as we were only there one night.
