A reasonable stay in a...

Liked: A very lovely setting. We have been many times before.Beds and bedding etc all ok
Disliked: The building could do with an update. Taps badly fitted and shower door not fitting. Needs a lick of paint too.No drinking water in the bedrooms. panes of glass cracked windows dirty on inside.No decaf coffee at breakfast - some items needed replenishing. The food was ok good standard. Not many staff in evidence.

Liked: Lovely location
Disliked: The carpet all the way along the hallway was very dirty and very badly stained with what looked like cleaning products or bleach 😟this didn’t give a good first impression 😞

Liked: Fantastic setting
Disliked: We had a superior room but found that several of the tiles were cracked in the bathroom and the tile grout in the shower area was dirty and black. There was an area in the bedroom where the skirting board appeared to be roten it was stained ascwas tge carpetbin this area. The hallway carpet was not a good first impression it is extremely badly stained throughout.

If the accommodation was of...

Liked: The restaurant has a 10/10 as the food and service was excellent. The hotel room was really disappointing. The bed springs were not good and the overall room furnishings were disappointing.
Disliked: The room was below the standard I would expect for the price paid. Really cheap.

Liked: The view was nice, the room was good but could have done with a lounge as there was plenty of room.Breakfast was greatDefinitely recommend
Disliked: The bath in the room was a waste of space.The big marquee took up a lot of space. It would be nicer to sit outside and look at the view
