Fine for business trip.

Liked: Value ok for business trip.Bed comfortable.Clean and facilities basic but fine.
Disliked: Room was clean but very tired, scuffed and poor decor.Supplemental breakfast very small considering price.Hairdryer in room did not work effectively.Bedside light very low dark shade that can't adjust for reading.

Terrible location for a function....

Disliked: I spent the nIght. And attended a dinner function for around 80-100 people. The food was absolutely dreadful and not representative of the money charged. Pretty disgusting. The room was ok. Although view was walls, the roof and other bedroom windows easily accessible across the flat roof. Felt I Could not leave my windows open due to personal safety / break ins.

Disliked: The confusing breakfast.When did anyone hear about a confusing breakfast???And despite making a non full English breakfast choice we were still charged an extra $5, which we didn´t realise until it was too late.

Liked: The spa was great, had an awesome facial and ba k massage using elemis products this was amazing the staff were so helpful the meal we had on S,aturday in thyme was beautiful .salmon.The second night ,we went out to the Greek restaurant at the docks ,,the lovely lady resceprionist Emma was really helpful and lovely to talk to she made us feel really welcome

Liked: Staff - approachable and polite
Disliked: Rooms were uncomfortably warm, no fans available all had already been shared with other rooms. Ordered food at the bar and took over 40 minutes to arrive, when it did arrive it was cold. Would not stay again.

Very enjoyable in good location...

Liked: The move to the ground floor after one night, especially helpful for my wife. Good choice at breakfast. Very friendly staff (and lovely cat). Good evening meals and bar area.Good pool and spa. My wife enjoyed her manicure.Easy parking.

Disliked: The dining facilities were poor. Uncomfortable seating and the first table we were allocated in an annex was totally unsuitable.

Promised a lot but delivered...

Liked: Location is really great. All the staff we came into contact with were very polite, friendly and helpful. Food was very good when we had dinner and breakfast.The hotel cat has its own cat flap located on the stairs which was fun. (However, the 'present' given to us by the cat at breakfast wasnt too great)
Disliked: No air con in the rooms, which, given the potential grade listing wouldn't be possible However, on the hottest days of the year to have no fans available is not good. When one was requested, we were told that the fans had all been taken apart to clean and were not ready to be assembled. The weather forecast had predicted the hot weather at least a week previously. So ample time to get this job done.Bed and pillows were extremely hard which, combined with the temperature, made for a very unenjoyable night sleep (which was only around 4 hours)We were not told about the event in the conference room prior to or on the day so, due to the temperature, trying to sleep with window open meant we could hear the bass from the music.If we had been told about the event, we would have made arrangements to go out for the evening and return once the event was over.
