It could have been excellent...

Liked: Gorgeous surroundings and buildings. It feels like you’re in the country but it’s in the middle of everything
Disliked: There was a wedding taking place which didn’t allow me to have meals in the dining room, which I had been looking forward to. I would have liked a warning about that.

It was a great weekend.

Liked: The grounds are beautiful and it’s walking distance to the town center. There are ducks and sheep, and the room is quiet!
Disliked: The restaurant breakfast was a bit limited for those who don’t eat eggs or like to have variety.

Who doesnt like a cozy...

Liked: Gorgeous setting. 20ish acres on the water with lots of adorable cottages, gardens, animals, and friendly staff. And good food! We loved the fresh muffins delivered to the room each morning.
Disliked: We stayed in the Meadow room. Super cute snd private 2 bedroom suite with a garden view. The room was last remodeled 23 years ago and the mattress on the bed by the tv has sort of sinkhole on one side, sort of like sleeping in a bean bag chair. We still really liked it, but its time for a new mattress.

A Relaxing Stay at a...

Liked: We had outstanding breakfasts which we ate on the patio overlooking the harbor. We stayed in the Manor East room which included a large bedroom, as well as a separate living room that overlooked the harbor. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Warm muffins were delivered to the room every morning. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. A five star resort. One note: There are a lot of stairs between the parking area at the top of the hill, and the restaurant/Manor. This resort would not be appropriate for someone who can not go up and down fairly steep stairs. We loved it here!!

We celebrated our 50th wedding...

Liked: the location is excellent with views of the harbor. The Staff if very good and accommodating.
Disliked: The facilities need a "refresh" and capital infusion. new carpets and furniture in the room. Our bathroom shower was not up to Relais standards. the food was okay but not great. overall, if Wickaninnish Inn is a 10, Hastings House is a 6.

Rejuvenating and Peaceful. Exactly what...

Liked: The Staff and Managment went our of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The included breakfast was amazing and muffins to your room are a nice touch. I liked it so much I stayed another night!

Luxurious stay with gorgeous views...

Liked: The property is beautiful, the rooms spacious, and the team that run the property were the kindest most helpful people. They were extremely accommodating and helped us in a pinch (when we were running late to a wedding).
Disliked: Nothing to note.
