Our stay was comfortable and...

Liked: The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The outside grounds are somewhat overgrown. The building are old with lots small maintenance items that could be improved. For some, that adds to the "charm" of the place, for others it could be a negative. I WOULD NOT LET THESE COMMENTS PREVENT ME FROM CHOOSING TO STAY THERE.

Liked: Very good breakfast, but I recommend real spoons. Wooden spoons are creepy feeling. Also, a recycling bin for yoghurt containers would be great

Disliked: Refrigerator was barely working...tried adjusting to no avail.

Liked: Quiet, quaint motel in the hills.
Disliked: The pillows were very old/hard, the bed was very firm/lumpy/uncomfortable, and there were some black spots on the ceiling of the bathroom.

Superb

Great place for our overnight...

Liked: Location was great, especially since we had planned on going to the nearby Robert Frost Stone House Museum. It was only a little more than a mile up the road! It was also very quiet and peaceful, on a rural road away from any traffic noise, businesses, etc., yet still close to Bennington, VT.
Disliked: The mattress was a little soft for what we use at home but wasn't uncomfortable. Everything else was fine with no problems or complaints.
