Superb

Exceptional

Great value and a friendly...

Liked: Great value for money. Could have stayed in a nearby Hampton, certainly newer. This is an older motel that has been carefully restored and decorated thoughtfully. Room and bedding were comfortable heat and a/c comfortable. Great staff and interesting artwork around the property (there is an artist in residence). If you are OK with funky I'd highly recommend it.
Disliked: A bit of road noise, bring a sound machine.

Artistic rooms and friendly staff....

Liked: Well, it looks like just a motel on the outside, every room is unique with interesting furniture and beautiful artwork.The simple continental breakfast was also very good, with lots of nice options, like yogurt and granola, fresh fruit, and toasted bagels. I suggest going to dinner right next-door at the Publyk house.

Liked: We had a nice, warm, and clean room . We especially liked the art peaces on the wall that you could buy.
Disliked: 1. We could hear the neighbors from the next doore room. Unfortunately, our neighbor decided to play with his dog at midnight. The dog was barking and screening, and there was no way to contact the motel management.2. The breakfast was starting at 8 am. We couldn't wait that long. In other hotels, the breakfasts start at 6 or 7 am .
