Gorgeous staff and room, great...
Liked: The location was great. The hotel itself has a very swanky and lively feel. Staff were friendly, helpful and so considerate - we were even gifted a gorgeous bottle of wine for our anniversary which was a really fantastic touch! Room was sparkling clean and much bigger than we'd expected. Contained a television, desk, and a little nespresso coffee machine (sadly it only produced little espressos instead of full cups of coffee because it was too small for a standard size cup but still a nice treat!). The facilities overall were very good (one of our shower heads had low water pressure, but the detachable head had great water pressure, so that made up for it). We had dinner in the hotel restaurant Uba, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a fantastic server Emma who went above and beyond to accommodate us, make recommendations from the menu and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything. We would definitely stay again, we really loved it, but absolutely would get breakfast elsewhere..!
Disliked: Breakfast was pretty atrocious honestly and a huge let-down in comparison to the rest of our stay. Both mornings there was confusion at the front desk over whether our breakfast was included with our stay (it was). The hot food (sausages, rashers, eggs) was not well stocked; on both mornings, I had to notify staff that various hot food items had run out and needed to be topped up. Because these items were then cooked in stages, the food was brought in dribs and drabs, which meant our breakfast was very bitty and couldn't be enjoyed as a whole (e.g., there was a 10 minute gap between hash browns and sausages being brought out). There was inconsistent availability of staff - on Saturday a member of staff greeted us and brought us to a table and offered coffees to order, but on the Sunday morning not a single member of staff approached us and I then had to seek someone out to ask for our cappuccinos. The breads and pastries were ALL stale on the first morning - inedibly so - and on the second morning the breads were still stale but the pastries were somewhat redeemable. The restaurant was by no means busy either morning, although Sunday had a few more tables than Saturday, but the place was probably a quarter full, so it was a bit worrying that everything was so disorganised even then. It's honestly the worst hotel breakfast experience I've ever had, and given it stretched across two mornings, it clearly wasn't a once-off event or "bad day". Adding insult to injury, while I was looking for a staff member to inform that there were no eggs, sausages or rashers left in the hot food containers and that the bread was stale, I saw three chefs standing at the bar, chatting leisurely together. Bit jarring when there wasn't half enough food available..!

Wonderfully comfortable. Would stay again.
Liked: It's central, it's very clean, it feels all very new. We got the room with the accessible toilet for mobility reasons and if was perfect for our case. The room was really comfortable.
