Harriet House Bed & Breakfast is a 10-minute walk along the River Stor from the very heart of beautiful historic Canterbury. This well-established 4-star bed and breakfast offers charming rooms with attached bathroom and free parking. Comfortable and well furnished all rooms have en suite shower rooms flat-screen TVs mini-fridges and tea/coffee. The Harriet House Bed and Breakfast is just 2133 feet from Canterbury West Railway Station and less than a mile from the shops restaurants and museums of Canterbury's city center as well as the historic Canterbury Cathedral. A full traditional English breakfast is freshly cooked and served to order in the sunny breakfast room and conservatory. Breakfast includes meat from an award-winning local butcher free-range farm eggs waffles and pancakes. Breakfast is served from 08:00 until 09:00. Lighter buffet options are also available and vegans vegetarians and those with special dietary needs can be accommodated by prior request. All guests are given their own keys and are free to come and go as they please. There is a private car park at the rear of the property with free parking for guests.

It was pretty near perfect

Liked: Our hosts, Paul & Heidi, were very welcoming and we very much enjoyed staying at Harriet House. Everything was clean & pristine and in good working order with a plentiful supply of tea/coffee in the room, breakfasts were excellent
Disliked: Our ground floor room was a little “snug” but bigger rooms are available. It was useful having no stairs though and we quickly adapted

We loved our stay at...

Liked: The breakfast was superb as was our treatment and accommodation. We loved our stay and were close to everything. We highly recommend Harriet House. Thank you to.our hosts Heidi and Paul. Canterbury Cathedral was a five minute walk away and it was great to have parking on site.
Disliked: Everything was perfect.

Exceptional

Liked: We loved everything about Harriet House. We had a Superior Double Room with views to a park and you could see the top of the church tower. The bed was very comfortable with a large ensuite. Our hosts Heidi and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were just the best.

Harriet House is the perfect...

Liked: Heidi and Paul are wonderful hosts. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Harriet House is well located in a quiet location, an easy walk to Canterbury Cathedral and all amenities. Breakfast choices were excellent and delicious. It was great to have on-site parking as this is not always an option so close to city areas.
Disliked: There is nothing not to like. We wish we could have stayed longer.
