Good Location - As Expected...

Liked: The location of the motel was good, close to the historic town area and the beach. The pool was clean and nice for a quick dip to cool off, but it was smaller than expected. The room was clean and the staff seemed friendly.
Disliked: The air conditioner didn't work well and was quite loud so we couldn't have it on overnight. Luckily it cooled off at night so we could open the window, but it was still hotter than we are used to in the room. Our stay on the weeknights we stayed was quiet, but on the last night we were there, which fell on the weekend, two families with lots of kids showed up and they were outside playing soccer and loud games until 1 am (some of the kids looked younger than 5 years old). Anyway, there didn't seem to be any rules around being quiet after a certain time, i.e. 11 pm would have been reasonable.

Liked: The bed was comfortable. The area was quiet. The pool was well maintained.
Disliked: The staff were mostly unavailable at the times listed. One day, I tried 3 times while ringing the buzzer for 10 minutes on and off, and no one answered the door. I came back an hour later, but there was still no answer. The managers live upstairs and choose to make their own hours.
