Adequate

Liked: Location okay. Room cleaned daily. Comfy bed. Good sheets. Nice bathtub/shower with good water pressure. God wifi.
Disliked: Room very tiny. Nowhere to put luggage. Paper thin walls. The neighbour’s tv was on to 1 am, keeping us awake. Tiny bathroom with barely enough room to dry off. Vanity is outside bathroom.

Clean floors and phone calls...

Liked: I liked that the little fridge had a freezer in it for my ice packs!All surfaces were very clean! The bathroom too. The blackout curtains actually hung properly and kept the light out!Tub clothesline in the room!
Disliked: The floors were very dirty. I wiped the bathroom floor with a wet wipe and it was bad. I washed the floor with a towel. I never was without my shoes on after that. I expect dirty floors, but this was a little over the top. Also, the night AFTER I checked out I noticed that I had misplaced a thumb drive that I thought I had brought with me. I decided to call just to see if it had been found. The gentleman, whom I had only dealt with the lovely woman before, answered. I told him who I was and what it was I was calling about and asked if it had been found or turned in. All I got was NO. And so for clarification, I asked him again if it had been turned in or seen as I may have lost it in my room, and I received the same resounding NO. Not even a nicety or a good-bye! I was considering staying again, but that just put me right off. I know there's a language barrier, quite a strong one actually, but that's no reason to be rude. So, if it wasn't for his wife this property would get zero for customer service. She was so nice she made up some... but I won't be staying again thanks to that phone call.

Disliked: We arrived at the property August 5 at 1 PM upon entering the office. The manager/owner was arguing with somebody on the phone over a technical issue. he was clearly frustrated and hung up on the man. I said to him I know that I’m early we were just came to check out the area and he said that’s fine. Took my name and proceeded to give me the keys to my room, we went to go to our room and realize that it was at the back of the building. I had booked a room in front of pool(smallest pool I’ve ever seen) and there was a dumpster right in front so I went back to the office and the man asked how my room was. I said well it’s not ready but that’s OK. I would like to switch rooms that room has a dumpster right in front of it. That’s not what I booked. The man stood up saying what time is it? It’s only 1 o’clock and you don’t check in until two and of course I have a dumpster. We’re a hotel and just went on and on about how he was having a bad day screaming and yelling at me telling me I’m rude. I have no business mentioning the dumpster. I was completely appalled. I said to him repeatedly, sir I don’t wanna argue with you. Why are you screaming at me? My husband walked into the office and asked what was going on and he told us to be quiet and sit down till he got off the phone. I couldn’t believe it. We walked out of the office and I tried numerous times to call and message booking.com with no success, I went back into the office and said to the man I would just like to change my room because he said I could not get a refund he continued to go on and on about his money problems out and how he wasn’t getting paid and I said him, sir it’s unacceptable the way you spoke to me and he just would not stop. My husband came into the office again and told him that he was being very rude. Then he told us to just get out so I just asked my husband to step outside and said to the man, I just want my room changed and be on my way he changed my room.
