Liked: The landlady was extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, felt very at home. The food was delicious and the house was immaculate.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!!!

Liked: I had a relaxing and enjoyable time there.Adel, the helpful house holder is very funny and kind. She is always willing to help us even at the middle of the night! Everything in the hotel is perfect.The bed is very comfortable .There is a useful kitchen with everything inside such as salt,sugar, clean coffee machines , oven to cook pizza and a microwave••• It’s just like home to me.The environment outside the hotel is great.The trees rustles as the soft wind blow past . Most importantly ,there is a playground not far away the hotel.I went to that playground and I would say it’s just a four minutes walk to be honest. There are lots of interesting activities in the playground.By the way , it is completely made out of wood so it is very biodegradable. In conclusion , this is the best hotel I have ever lived in.You should go there too!
Disliked: I think everything in the hotel is perfect .I wouldn’t suggest to change anything.

Perfect peaceful location to explore...

Liked: Location is perfect to explore York, Leeds, Whitby. It’s quiet and comfortable with loads of free parking. The village is beautiful. Rooms are well equipped and warm!Adele is a kind and helpful host, she makes sure you have everything you need and gives great tips on where to go and what to do. We will definitely be back to Harmony House!
Disliked: We had to leave!

Liked: Excellent breakfast with a good choice available. The house itself is tastefully furnished in a lovely setting. Also extremely convenient for journeying into York centre.
Disliked: Nothing.

Lovely place to stay just...

Liked: It was lovely and warm when we arrived after quite a long journey on the Friday night. Since we were late arriving, it was self check-in which was very easy and the Christmas tree was a welcoming sight in the hall. The Christmas card and other decorations were also a lovely touch. Our room was comfortable and the lounge looked plush with games and books available had we needed them. A good night's sleep was had since there was no traffic noise.The breakfast was tasty and the look on my face when I saw the yoghurt, granola and fruit bowl!!! Suffice to say that I did not eat until late afternoon. Adele was chatty (in a good way) welcoming and an excellent host.
