Pick the eclectic one...

Liked: Charming place from the 1880's, lovingly restored with an artistic flair. Close to public transportation and train station, also a variety of restaurants and food trucks are within a short walk. Public artworks, galleries, parks and street performers too.
Disliked: This area has lots of "artists" and homeless folks, so if you have trouble dealing with street-people get over it or stay elsewhere. The ones I hung around with in the park nextdoor were very friendly, polite and respectful (minus the occasional nutcase of course).The hotel building itself is safe and very secure.

Decent hotel, but you might...

Liked: The rooms are clean and it’s a good price in a decent location
Disliked: There was a lot of loud music out on the streets, we couldn’t tell where it was coming from but it was off and on until about 2 AM. We called the front desk and they told us that sometimes there are “events” in the area with music, but that the music would stop by 11. Well, it didn’t stop by 11. Also, for me, the pillows are way too squishy.

Stay here and be near...

Liked: Super comfortable and convenient. Coffee and drinks in the lobby were great. Clean rooms and quiet. Historic building with lots of charm... High ceilings and large windows.
Disliked: I had to leave and go home

Won't come again

Liked: Comfy bed, nice ambiance.
Disliked: Noisy, right over a bar with loud music. Shades didn't close and we had car headlights flashing in all night.
