A lovely visit, thank you.

Liked: A lovely little hotel right in the centre of Bath, in a historic building down one of the little lanes. A special thank you to the staff who arranged a parking space right by the hotel since I have limited walking at the moment - and were completely friendly and helpful about it! Nice little bar for a final drink after the theatre, And - lovely touch - as it was our second stay (after several years) there was a handwritten card and box of chocolates in our room to welcome us. Nice bathroom, extra heater to use if we needed it in the room, comfy bed. Excellent.
Disliked: Nothing wrong with the hotel at all. But beware Bath's one-way roads - and the parking at the hotel door is pretty tight!

Liked: The location
Disliked: I was not told I would be charged for roses being laid out onto the bed until I left and they charged me 15

Loud noise/banging all night. Couldn?t...

Liked: The hot tub and the location
Disliked: On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely lady, who was super friendly. The room was upstairs and was nice and cosy. We used the hot tub one evening, which was great! The location is perfect. However, after our meal, we headed back to the hotel. Tried going to sleep and the hotel has scaffolding up and it was right outside our window. Then all night, the hotel sign was banging constantly on the scaffolding. It was impossible to sleep, with the constant ?bang bang?. When the room was in darkness, there was a bright green light from the thermostat, that shined all night. I recommend getting a plaster or something to cover the light, for future guests. There is a radio in the room and the guests before us, had set the alarm for 5am. So this also went off. I know this isn?t the hotels fault but for future, should check the alarm is off. When checking out, my boyfriend complained and explained why he wasn?t happy and played them the video of the nose we had to put up with. The manager was apologetic but basically there wasn?t anything she could do and said It was the weather. If the scaffolding wasn?t there, the sign wouldn?t of banged all night. So yes it was the weather blowing the sign, but it was also the scaffolding. We paid 260 for that one night, so as a compromise we felt that 50% refund would had been fair. However, they were reluctant to give us a 50 refund. I do feel like this situation could had been handled better. Sadly don?t recommend and wouldn?t go back.

Perfect location and lovely staff

Liked: The staff were the absolute sweetest and really couldn?t do enough for you. Very welcoming and helpful. The location is fantastic as well
Disliked: The standard room we were in was a little tired and had very low ceilings that my 6?3 husband struggled with but that?s very minor. Also the Superior room had stairs to the bathroom which wasn?t ideal for my elderly family who were staying. Very nit picky though, we all still very much enjoyed our stay!

Superb small hotel in quaint...

Liked: SUPERB little hotel with friendly helpful staff in a superb location for walking around bath (and for access to and from Rail station). Housed in a quaint old property it does not have lifts and narrow stairs -fine if you are able bodied. Rooms are spotless, comfortable and decent plumbing in the bathroom.Location is amazing and quality of staff a high point. Would certainly stay there again.
Disliked: Nothing
