Great Hotel in a great...

Liked: Hotel in great location in the centre of town. Room was a good size, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Room also had mini fridge, tea and coffee making and continental breakfast.
Disliked: The en-suite macerater was a little noisy.

Liked: We travelled to attend Sedgefield races, the location of the hotel was great with free parking, local pubs and restaurants nearby. The booking did not include breakfast but we were very pleased with the provison of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, tea/coffee, muffins etc that was included in the price and available in our room.

Exceptional

Liked: Unfortunately the bar was closed to guests due to a private function which was fine.
Disliked: Breakfast would have been good, However, a small hamper was provided the contents were more than satisfactory.

It was a little disappointing

Liked: The room was comfortable and warm once the heating was on. the bathroom was nice.The restaurant next door was fantastic and I would visit that again
Disliked: Th UHT milk wasn't great at breakfast. As a lone female traveler it was un settling to realise there was no one at the hotel overnight should there be an issue. I realise the is a phone number but it didn't give comfort.
