Liked: Staff fine. Most pretty helpful but not exactly busting themselves to help. One rude waiter ruined our dinner on 1st night so we didn't eat in the hotel after that. However, there was a waitress who was really lovely to make up for him. I'd say Staff training is required for sure. Beds were comfortable but hated having the loo and shower in a semi glazed compartment in the room and the basin in the actual room. Zero privacy. Also, the room looked in on the bar/restaurant/reception atrium so it was noisey.Breakfast was good in terms of choice and quality.Would probably book a different hotel next time.

Liked: Location was excellent - right beside the Reina Sofia art centre and very close to Atocha railway station. People were lovely - we were impressed with their friendliness. The bar area was good with a lively atmosphere. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was not open during our stay. Breakfast was good - lots to choose from. Rooms were a decent size, quiet and modern; very clean although the layout was slightly unusual with the sink and mirror outside the main bathroom where the toilet and shower were. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: We weren’t keen on the handbasin and mirrors being outside the en suite bathroom. The operation of the lifts was rather unpredictable.
