Exclusive to guests staying at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel®, and Loews Royal Pacific Resort. (Valid theme park admission required; select attractions. Not valid at Universal Volcano Bay or Universal Epic Universe.) Breeze into one of the Universal parks up to an hour earlier than regular guests with Early Park Admission* (valid theme park admission required; select attractions). A 12,000-square-foot pool with underwater music and rock and roll memorabilia decor is on site. Guests can also enjoy American fare at Palm Restaurant on site for dinner. Velvet Bar features a full bar and appetizers. Free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, and an iPod docking station are available in each room. All rooms are decorated with rock music-themed decor. This hotel provides complimentary shuttle busses and walking paths around the resort, so it's just a quick hop to Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk.

Hard rock hotel

Liked: Express passes were a great addition. Pool facilities were very good. Location for Universal was excellent.
Disliked: The room was very dated, not like the pictures. The level 7 amenities were sparse, particularly between 5-7 cold spring rolls and chicken skewers. Message advising they noted it was my birthday and would make it extra special. However, not even a plate with a happy birthday. Raised with guest services who did apply a small credit. Well worth it for express passes. However, would not bother with lounge access as not worth the extra money.

Rockin' stay for Universal Studios!

Liked: Our family had an amazing time at the Hard Rock Hotel. The location was perfect for visiting Universal Studios and Universal Islands of Adventure. We loved the short 5-minute walk to the parks through beautiful scenery, and the free water taxi was a fun and convenient alternative. The front desk staff were amazing and very helpful. Our room was also nice, clean, and well-equipped. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Universal!
Disliked: it would only have been better if the room had free water bottles and a more modern coffee machine.

Worth the stay for easy...

Liked: We stayed in a Club Room which allowed us access to a light breakfast and drinks and snacks / salads each evening. Only downside is the hotel is tired and 4 of us in the 1 room was a squash. It is however a mere 5 min stroll to the parks and we received early access and Express Passes from staying at the hotel. So 10/10 for location if visiting Universal Parks!
