Too hot, no air con....

Liked: Breakfast was great and the staff were very polite
Disliked: There was no air con. It was hotter than the sun and the room was horrendous without air con. I don’t sleep a second. We had to sleep with the balcony door wide open but there were road works that were causing noise. So it was red hot and very noisy. Very disappointed.

Liked: The location was amazing
Disliked: The room was lovely and big however it was very short on plug socket and the ones it did have were cover by a huge desk. Nowhere to plug the hairdryer in near a mirror. Also couldn’t watch TV from the bed had to sit in the chair and there was only one!

Liverpool as always fantastic, but...

Liked: The location of the Hotel was fantastic, albeit a little noisy in the mornings from cleaners and the like. But something was happy to live with. Bed was comfy too.
Disliked: I very really leave reviews but feel this one required me to. Room was in poor condition, fridge sat on floor, tiles cracked, hot/cold taps wrong way round, ironing board broken. Breakfast was poor and taste less and dysfunctional setting out, tables sticky & needed cleaning, coffee was poor and tepid, so much so on the second morning I was ready to go to a a local Weatherspoon's instead. Hotel is in need of refurbishment, carpets tables all in poor condition and in need of a deep clean. This was probably once a very nice hotel at some point, but as for being a four star rating it is not, nor value for money relating for a four star hotel. There are much better hotel chains out there for the money/experience. Photos on the website did not represent what I found. Will not be using this chain of hotels in the future if this is their standard. On the whole I love visiting Liverpool but this did somewhat spoil the birthday experience.
