Exceptional

Liked: Every single member of the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. It was so refreshing. The hotel was clean and beautiful, and the daily offerings of wine, charcuterie, cookies, and milk all added to the welcome feeling of it. The room had everything we needed, and the bed was perfectly comfortable. We were lucky to have a balcony with a view of the harbor where we could see dolphins each morning. There is construction going on across the street, but it wasn't as bad as we expected. Noise was minimal.

Liked: Our stay was wonderful. The staff and location were great! The morning breakfast, afternoon wine and charcuterie and evening milk and cookies were very nice. Our only complaint was the lack of thorough cleaning. The hotel is definitely in need of a refresh. A fresh coat of paint and new carpet is needed. If those items were addressed it would have been a five star review. It’s quite expensive and I expected a bit more.

Disliked: The breakfast was very poor delivered cold to our bedroom. There was no restaurant or bar and we had a building site opposite us that started banging at seven in the morning. It’s an enormous hotel going up so this is going to be ongoing.

Sisters trip.to.Chatleston

Liked: Lovely inn right by the harbour. Great location to walk to restaurants, historic homes, shopping, churches and beautiful old homes. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the free served breakfast, wine and cheese happy hour and cookies and milk at bedtime were a treat!
