Very good

Liked: Good location in terms of how close it was to Caroline Bay, and a quick walk to the city centre. Had a free room upgrade which we really appreciated.
Disliked: Traffic noise is loud if you're a light sleeper - but if you're booking something on a main road that's to be expected.

Good location for exploring Timaru...

Liked: Nicely appointed, clean and comfortable room, good location for exploring Timaru and as a stop between Dunedin and Christchurch
Disliked: The main highway was quite noisy even with sound proofing
