Harbour View Motel

Excellent place to stay.

Liked: Good location, very friendly, helpful staff, company beds, very clean and spacious. Reasonably priced. Good parking.
Disliked: The sheets smelt a little too strongly of fabric softener or detergent for my liking.

Comfortable and warm

Disliked: Standing out in the cold waiting 15min for someone to answer reception. Phoned and knocked on door. Luckily someone came into lounge and I managed to get their attention

A clean, comfortable place for...

Liked: The little house was spacious, comfortable, warm, very clean and had a good TV. There was a parking spot right outside the house. It was well located for town and the beach. The staff were friendly.
Disliked: The oven didn’t work properly and wasn’t clean. Nor did the light above the oven work. Also - this didn’t matter to us, but note that every window from the house looks out either onto the car park or the busy main road.

Liked: Handy location for Caroline bay parkrun. Accomodating hosts when I arrived late in the evening

Liked: I arrived earlier and the owner/manager came down to let me in - appreciated.
Disliked: The fan in the bathroom is very loud and needs replacing.

Fabulous accomodation and super friendly...

Liked: Spacious, clean and warm unit. Comfy and large couch. So good to have suitcase stands in both bedrooms. My elderly parents thought the matting on the stair case was great to have. Such a short walk into the town. Perfect location.

Liked: Good location in terms of how close it was to Caroline Bay, and a quick walk to the city centre. Had a free room upgrade which we really appreciated.
Disliked: Traffic noise is loud if you're a light sleeper - but if you're booking something on a main road that's to be expected.
