Poor maintenace is no excuse

Liked: The restaurant overlooked the harbour and was well catered for by friendly staff. The evening meal was very good. The breakfast was excellent one of the best.
Disliked: The room that was supposed to overlook the courtyard but was completely blockedby 4 high trollies for bedding immediately infront of the room door. This was very poor. The bathroom had issues with poor maintenace. There were two sinks but one had a loose fitting tap that turned half around when used. The sink plug had a rod system but was not attached and came completely out so it could not hold water in the bowl. The Toilet system was in need of fixing as it continued to flush after use. .These issues were brought to the attention of the reception desk staff.All in all this made the stay less enjoyable which it shouldn't have been. Poor maintenace is no excuse.

Disliked: Swimming pool too small!

Lovely hotel for a short...

Liked: Excellent facilities in a good location with very friendly staff.
Disliked: Bedroom was very hot and the fan provided was little help.

The place is lovely with...

Liked: Included breakfast was continental only, but was very extensive and there were lots of options for me, which is rare as continental breakfast can be problematic for those of us with lactose intolerance
Disliked: I was in a single room which was of perfectly adequate size, but extremely stuffy. The windows were locked to allow only a small aperture and hot pipes under the bathroom floor kept it roasting at all times and I could not get the cold tap to run cols at all. The fan provided was great during the day, but far too noisy at night, so I sweltered.

Would stay again

Liked: Location was fabulous, staff friendly, pool was gorgeous
Disliked: Lack of attention to detail, glasses in room were dirty, hand wash and shower gel in wrong holder, therefore hand wash was in shower, tissue box one tissue! Complementary gin was so small not enough for two !

Very relaxing few days in...

Liked: Excellent location with lovely view over the bay. Easy walk to promenade and town. Delicious breakfasts and dinner. Friendly efficient staff. Free parking an additional bonus.
Disliked: Bathroom was very small and bath/shower would have benefited with a “grab” handle for safety.

A wonderful relaxing two day...

Liked: Clean and fresh appearance and very comfortable room with a lovely sea view
Disliked: Our room was very warm and had to use the fan provided. Other than that, nothing at all.

Pleasant

Liked: Breakfast was limited in the price. The pool was tiny. The single room was very warm and the toilet not properly cleaned. Some of the staff were very pleasant and others not very engaging.
