Not really what was expected

Liked: Location excellent
Disliked: Breakfast generally good but no fresh bread, only sliced.Had two dinners, I had Sea Bream which was a tiny portion. The next evening we had fish and chips, the fish being very crispy and overcooked. We complained both times. We also had a problem with the bathroom which we had to report twice to get resolved

Fantastic beach hotel .

Liked: Hotel was beautiful . Room was very comfortable and great value . (We chose a courtyard room which we pleased to discover had a balcony ) . All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Complimentary gin and tonic is a great idea . The outdoor pool is stunning and the hotel is a very short walk to the beach if you want to swim in the sea.
Disliked: Nothing as we knew our room overlooked the parking area but at nearly half the price of a sea view room it was well worth the saving as the actual room was really lovely and unexpectedly spacious .

Not value for money but...

Liked: Lovely outdoor pool and terrace with great view. Courtyard room was comfortable and the bed was huge.
Disliked: We have stayed here a few times and we're disappointed. Firstly with our dinner in the restaurant. We are both vegetarian, there were 2 veggie options so we got both. The portions were very small and the food was the kind you would expect at Wetherspoons. The veg curry was more like a watery soup and the ravioli was not filling. We used to get bread with our meal which you don't get now. I got a passion fruit martini and was told there was no prosecco for it but charged full price. There were bags of dirty washing left resting on the chairs and table outside of our room all day so we couldn't sit out there. Breakfast used to be included, you now only get continental included. I know they need to make a profit but feel they are prioritising this over customer experience.
