Set in beautifully landscaped gardens right by the water's edge the award-winning Harbor Hotel Fowey has a scenic and peaceful location. It offers free WiFi an award-winning restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Many of the individually decorated rooms with attached bathroom offer panoramic views of the harbor as do all of the public rooms. Each also has a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. The pretty town of Fowey is a joy to wander around with its charming shops and galleries. The town center can be reached in around 5 minutes' walk from the hotel building. The Fowey's restaurant has held an AA Rosette for the outstanding preparation of its food and the quality of its local seasonal ingredients.

Ok

Liked: Location and view.
Disliked: We booked as private parking was offered.But we had no private parking for the whole of our stay.It is wrong that the Hotel advertises private parking. Misrepresentation.

Very good in the main...

Liked: Bedroom was very comfortable and clean

Interior designers dream decor with...

Liked: A warm welcome and stunning views. Fresh decor that was beautiful throughout from the rooms to the restaraunt and everywhere between. Evening meal and breakfast were delicious and catered for dietary needs ever so well. The vintage lift was a highlight!

Lovely!

Liked: View, breakfast.
Disliked: My room fid not have a walk in shower so I could not use the facility. The car parking issue eas a nightmare for anyone with walking difficulties. Neither of these was flagged up before booking.

Good hotel in Fowey which...

Liked: The hotel has beautiful rooms.Nice and very clean bathroom with good water pressure.The hotel restaurant food was good quality and tasted good too.Walking distance to waterfront, shops.Parking available by reservation.
Disliked: My king bed had a sunken spot. I informed the front desk who said they would request housekeeping to turn the mattress. No apology whatsoever for this was made. The mattress was not turned and i had to sleep in the sunken area for the 2 night stay. I think the hotel needs to change its mattresses. I did not expect this type of mattress for this category of hotel and pricing
